Hegel on the relation of speculative philosophy and orthodox theology

Lectures on the philosophy of religion, which Hegel, changing only the details, read in 1821, 1824, 1827 and 1831, are very relevant in their content, because they raise the topic of the relationship between speculative philosophy and orthodox theology, without the disclosure of which it is impossible to end the conflict between science and religion, which began in the 18th century and has not yet ended. This is evidenced by the increasing mass of problems of modern mankind, which it is not able to solve, relying even on the highest technologies. The article presents Hegel's view on this attitude and on the absolute religion of truth and freedom. Since this religion, from the point of view of this philosopher, is a necessary result of the history of religion and the history of philosophy, only it is able to change the way of thinking and being of mankind, which guarantees him the solution of all these increasingly acute problems.
