The research period covers 2011–2016 years. The object of the research is a strategic course of Kim Jong-un, the Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK. The subject of the research is the traditions and innovation policy of Kim Jong-un. The hypothesis: based on the traditional ideology – the Songun policy – the young Kim Jong-un pursues the policy of enhancing the leadership role of the Workers' Party of Korea. The research was carried out through analysis of the texts of Kim Jong-un, the conceptual comparison of the positions of Kim Jong-un with the positions of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in domestic policy of the DPRK; the functional analysis was carried out with a direct field research, expressed in the observations of daily life of citizens of the DPRK from 2002 to the present, the photographs, interviews with citizens of the DPRK and the representatives of the higher echelons of power, the interviews with experts and specialists in Korean studies. The author draws a conclusion that after introducing a political revolution term kimirsenizm-kimchenirizm in 2012, young Kim has outlined the ideological basis of his course, reaffirmed the commitment of the ideology of Juche as the self-reliance policy carried out by his grandfather and father. The author notes the sign of reforms based on the Chinese model: the reforms are being implemented without any transformation of the political system. The innovations in the strategic course may include the appeals and demands of Kim Jong-un to use modern technical achievements, to study foreign experience through the Internet, to enhance a favorable image of the DPRK in the field of propaganda, using the Internet platform.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The research of Materials of the Seventh Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea, the Kim Jong-un articles of 2011–2016, as well as the Internet publications (naenara.com site), make it possible to identify certain features of domestic policy of the North Korean leader.
