The school-teachers’ names discovered in the process were correlated with the frequency of referring to them in an index to a monograph on the history of the Kharkov Institute of Arts (1992). We compiled a summary table with the names of administrators and faculty (126 people), who had not been included in that index. Using the advanced Google search, we collected information about 25 people from the list. The issue of location of Kharkov music schools and changing names among them over the period was also investigated. We proved that in the pre-revolutionary time most of the musician-educators used to settle down in the vicinity of the Kharkov Music College.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>In order to study the staff lists and locations of the Kharkov music schools and their relocation, we systematically analyzed «The All Kharkov» reference and address books and telephone directories from 1910 to 1940.
