The topicality of the research is determined by the growing literary interest to regional literature and the creativity of provincial authors. The urban area&amp;nbsp;/&amp;nbsp;space is described and presented in the research through the following oppositions: &amp;quot;native&amp;nbsp;/&amp;nbsp;foreign&amp;quot;, &amp;quot;provincial&amp;nbsp;/&amp;nbsp;metropolitan&amp;quot;, &amp;quot;northern&amp;nbsp;/&amp;nbsp;southern&amp;quot;. In the perception of the lyrical character of the poems, which in many respects coincides with O.&amp;nbsp;Grigoryeva, Pavlodar space is depicted as ambivalent &amp;ndash; as both, a real city and a creative image of the city in arts &amp;ndash; music, poetry, paintings. Urban space is determined not only by specific details of the territory, but also by those people who live in this city. The peculiarities of Pavlodar area in Olga Grigoryeva&amp;rsquo;s poems show the city &amp;quot;ab intra&amp;quot;, from the view of a person who perceives Pavlodar as a home.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>In the following research article, the urban provincial space in the literary works of Pavlodar poet O.&amp;nbsp;N.&amp;nbsp;Grigoryeva (her collection of poems about Pavlodar in particular) is regarded.
