We propose a hypothesis that for the author of &amp;ldquo;Of Grammatology&amp;rdquo; the change in the status of intonation entails a change in the status of philosophy, which in turn implies the replacement of the &amp;quot;emotional&amp;quot; intonations of metaphysics with &amp;quot;rational&amp;quot; articulations of grammatology. Comparison of the &amp;quot;emotional&amp;quot; and &amp;quot;rational&amp;quot; vocabulary of passages from two texts representing different epochs &amp;ndash; from the &amp;quot;meta-physical&amp;quot; text of Rousseau and the &amp;quot;meta-philosophical&amp;quot; text of Derrida &amp;ndash; shows that Rousseau &amp;#39;s retrospective is based on both evaluative and neutral vocabulary, and in a prospective retrospective of Derrida, abstract vocabulary predominates which is semantically addressed to the intellect. That is, the hypothesis is confirmed at the lexical level, but it was also discovered that Derrida uses a richer arsenal of intonation means than Rousseau, trying to subordinate their articulations, whose &amp;quot;roundabout maneuvers&amp;quot; are aimed at meta-philosophy, but so far only give voice to detonations, which in the future will make it possible to master the articulations of philosophical writing more fully.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article is dedicated to the study of the implicit content of Derrida&amp;rsquo;s thesis on the genesis of philosophy from phonetic writing: intonation turns out to be &amp;ldquo;the structural source of philosophy as a science&amp;rdquo; and as a &amp;ldquo;logocentric&amp;rdquo; way of reading, now must to give way to a future way of reading &amp;ndash; articulation.
