Dennett's works, one of the most famous representatives of the brights movement ("new atheism”). As pointed out by D. Dennett, in modern post-atheistic and post-religious society, the dialogue between the believer and the atheist means the enlightening in the field of axiological and cognitive structures of religious experience. The article presents the case research of these conditions as they come to light in the book "Breaking the spell-Religion as a natural phenomenon". Dennett, according to the author, admits the comparable religion and atheism as informative historical reality, each of which can be objectified to the extent of its discursivity. He insists that the religion itself cannot make people moral, even though it is the historical basis of morality; historically merged concepts "spirituality" and "religiousness" are not identical. Taking into account the arguments of D. Dennett, the brights movement has an educational character; "New atheism" is not belligerent against religion, but just against its radical ("monologue") manifestations.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article considers the possible bases and prospects of the dialogue on religion and morals – as presented in D.
