On the basis of official publications of Kharkov School District, the author identifies directors, teachers and graduates of Belgorod Teachers’ Training Institute of the late XIX and early XX centuries. The article demonstrates a significant contribution to science, education and development of public education in Kursk, Voronezh, Kharkov and Kazan provinces made by the directors of Belgorod Teachers Training Institute A. K. Dimitriu, A. F. Komarov, and F. E. Paktovskiy.
