Today, the study of various activities of religious communities in the Internet space is becoming of vital importance. Without taking this component into account, research data no longer covers religious interaction in its entirety, and therefore cannot be comprehensive and claim objectivity. The confession is considered in detail, in the space of digital interaction, in its broad communicative context. Semantic communication units of priests were found with the help of content analysis. The article analyzes the structure and content of the channels of the Orthodox parishes in Yekaterinburg and traces the main topics addressed to the audience, as well as the quality and volume of feedback received from parishioners. The author draws a conclusion that Orthodox discourse on YouTube has a communicative focus. The article contains the analysis of the parameters of the representation of each communicative unit for the analysis of confession in the context of interaction of the network communities of the Orthodox churches in Yekaterinburg, on their own sites, and on the YouTube platform.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article is devoted to the analysis of the structural units of observation of confessions on the YouTube video hosting platform.
