Elena A. Okladnikova, an archaeologist and sociologist of culture, with a very famous colleague prof. Dmitri G. Savinov. The article clarifies the prospects of modern archaeological knowledge as primarily hermeneutic. The collaborators seek, above all, the experience of their own researches in some different fields (ancient history and archeology of the steppe of Central Asian societies and Southern Siberia, and archeology of rock-painting or petroglyphs in Central Asia, Siberia and the Far East). In this regard, the possibility of archeology in a holistic structure of university education is revealed, designed as a humanitarian or hermeneutics and dialogical in its fundamental presuppositions.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This article grew out of an interview, which was held by prof.
