The article deals with the problem of correlation between philosophical and artistic principles in aesthetics, in particular, in the notes of the famous Russian philosopher N.N. Strakhov about the poetry of A.A. Fet. The author analyzes the famous review of Ap. Grigoriev (one of Strakhov&#39;s teachers) &ldquo;Fet&#39;s Poems&rdquo; (1850), Strakhov&#39;s letters to Fet, and their importance for the understanding of Fet&#39;s poetry. In this aspect the question of religious and philosophical sense of Fet&#39;s lyrics is considered.
