This article provides a brief overview of the situation with mathematical education in the world, examines the results of the test conducted among students, which is aimed at testing logical and mathematical thinking. Structuring of the obtained results among the interviewed students of various institutes of the National Research University &ldquo;BelSU&rdquo; was carried out, modeling was carried out, diagrams were constructed, which will allow to identify the strengths and weaknesses of students in the branches of mathematics.
