The constitutional provisions on the media constitute a fundamental piece of legislation that gives the media industry the right to collect, process, and disseminate information, as well as freedom of expression (both personal, author&amp;#39;s, and public). Each country has its own policy towards the media. In this study, an attempt is made to analyze the constitutional provisions aimed at supporting the media in the Republic of Mali. Observations on the functioning of the media sphere of the Republic of Mali indicate the need in the difficult political conditions created in the country to form the legal basis for the activities of the media, especially in the right to collect, process and disseminate information, as well as the expression of opinions.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>In order to ensure the effective functioning of all its spheres, society needs constitutional support and legal support for the activities of the mass media, which explains the particular importance of the national communication policy.
