Ilyenkov’s attitude to external sources (with respect to the subject) of generation of ideal phenomena are considered in the context of the national psychology. Alternative directions of scientific analysis are allocated, where the mind is seen as the processes and functions that are: a) localized in the brain; b) located between the subjects and objects of the world, providing orientation in the world.
