The article is updating the archived record of 1911 dedicated to A. S. Khomyakov, a thinker who engrossed the minds of the Russian youth in the early twentieth century. The main methodological priority of the research is a cultural analysis. The goal of the research is to renew the spiritual and historical contexts of epistolary speech of Victor [Fritz], a student of Kiev tradesman school. In the letter to his family in Khabarovsk, he informed about the participation in Kiev tradesman school party (spouting the poetry of A. S. Khomyakov "Russian Song" and "Kiev"). The results can be implemented in split-level cultural studies of Khomyakov's heritage and when studying the history of the perception of this heritage in the Russian cultural identity.
The brief letter of a student of Kiev tradesman school Victor [Fritz], which was sent to Khabarovsk in 1911, indicates the attention the Russian youth of the early twentieth century paid to the literary and philosophical (poetic) heritage of A. S. Khomyakov. The "Russian Song" and "Kiev» poetry mentioned in the archived letter is a fact of the historical memory of the spiritual commonality of Russian people of different cultural epochs and the historical reprimand of their nation separation. The poetry of A. S. Khomyakov, his philosophical and theological works embrace the foundations of the national metaphysical axiology. They are addressed to different generations of young Russian intellectuals who make sense of their place in the history of Russian culture.
