THE ORTHODOX FAMILY AS A SPIRITUAL AND RELIGIOUS COMMUNITY (BASED ON THE RESEARCH OF ARCHPRIEST VASILY ZENKOVSKY)

The article considers the main spheres of implementation of spiritual and moral pedagogical strategies in the Orthodox family. The Orthodox family is a unique example of a spiritual and religious community within which the main pedagogical tasks of our time are realized. Methodologically, the article is based on interdisciplinary links between philosophy, sociology, cultural studies, pedagogy and Orthodox theology, using the methods of Orthodox pedagogy developed by Archpriest Vasily Zenkovsky in his pedagogical works. The result of the research work is the identification of the main spiritual and pedagogical methods of education of spiritual and moral personality, the definition of the role of the Orthodox family as an important social institution in the formation of the spiritual outlook of the younger generation. The application of the research results is possible in the development of theoretical and methodological models of Orthodox pedagogy and sociology, in the formation of strategies for interaction between society and the family on qualitatively different, spiritually oriented, grounds, as well as to create effective mechanisms to counter destructive trends in the social sphere.
