NikolaiStrakhovaboutthephenomenonofdeath
The article "Nodes of correction of mental experience in N. N. Strakhov's philosophy" (Problematics of death..., 2000: 27-35) posed a knot of problems, one of which was a typical error of scientific search worked out by N. N. Strakhov – unwillingness to change the tools, the habit of searching for meaning "far away from home". The same applies to the question of the meaning of death. In this article, we will consider how Strakhov's ideas were matched, firstly, with the ancient traditions of preparing a person to leave for another world, secondly, how these ideas correlated with the opinions of other philosophers, both in past years and now, in the third decade of the 21st century. A feature of modernity, such as the neglect of the emotional sphere, contributes greatly to the relevance of insurance ideas. N.N. Strakhov paid a lot of attention to the form, and this served as an impetus to the understanding of many things, including death. The philosopher N.N. Strakhov's main idea about the inevitability of death as the final fragment of life, despite its apparent simplicity, still remains unexplored.
