Historical types of social communication

The article examines the historical types of social communication. Realizing the general scientific principle of historicism, it is possible to determine the correlates of these types with the philosophical concepts of dialogue. The article shows that the ratio of the mayevtic, biblical and anthropocentric (relativistic) types of dialogue determines the essential existential and semantic parameters of social communication. The transitions between these types are the result of the effort of human freedom. Complementary and mixed types of dialogic communication defining the type of social communication are considered. The paradoxes of the concept of “tolerance” and the crisis of communication in the media society are considered separately.
