Gianni Rodari “The Adventures of Cipollino”: an adult reading and the relevance of today
The article reveals the new relevance of the classic children's text "The Adventures of Cipollino" by Gianni Rodari. This text was a great success in our country, but now it makes us think about a number of unsolved problems. The author counts up to ten such sensitive questions. First of all, this is the upbringing of boys, the development of a man's attitude to life, to business. A large number of obstacles on the way to achieving – the goal of freeing his father from prison – also constitutes a necessary link in the mind of little Cipollino. In addition, emotional responsiveness, father's priority, adult issues: communication skills, division into friends and enemies, attitude to lies, attention to school, a variety of subjects that need to be learned well – all this is the essence of the book and at the same time is the relevance of today.
