Philosophical outlines of evolutional and ecological thinking in the modern conditions of Anthropocene

The article discusses the definition, basic properties and criteria, scientific and philosophical foundations of the concept of evolutionary and ecological thinking, its relevance in the conditions of modern information and technological society – the so-called Anthropocene era. There are quite a lot of studies on the topics of separate evolutionary and ecological thinking. This work stands out because it seeks ways to combine the strengths of these approaches while overcoming their shortcomings. Promising directions for the development of evolutionary and ecological thinking are identified so that it meets the requirements and problems of the technological and information society of the 21st century. For this, the classical foundations of evolutionism and ecology alone are not sufficient; modern, relevant approaches must also be actively applied. The importance of the concept of coevolution for evolutionary and ecological thinking is emphasized. The current state of the Anthropocene – the so-called technocene – places particularly high demands on evolutionary and ecological thinking. The Technocene presents new, unique threats to the development of society and its interaction with the environment. As a result, a conclusion is formulated about the importance and promise of evolutionary and ecological thinking for scientific, philosophical and methodological research.
