PORTRAYAL OF CHANGES IN THE MINDS OF PEOPLE OF THE TRANSITIONAL EPOCH IN SHUKUR KHOLMIRZAEV’S STORY «AROSAT» («AT THE CROSSLINE»)

Currently, there is a growing interest in the study of artistic interpretation of the transition period of history in the national literature of the post-Soviet countries. The study of the question of the literary image of changes in the socio-spiritual, psychological character of modern man puts literary critics before the need to analyze the essence of these changes, to return to their roots. The article presents artistic understanding of the problems of the transition period, through an analysis of the story of Shukur Kholmirzaev "Arosat" ("At the Crossline"). It studies the interrelations between generations, changes in their psychology, caused by socio-economic tensions peculiar to the transition period.
