The epistolary conversation of Nikolai N. Strakhov and Yury N. Govorukha-Otrok (to the archive of the 1890s)
The article presents the materials of an archival review of a previously unpublished corpus of letters from the Russian thinker of the 19th century N. N. Strakhov to the literary and theatrical critic, an employee of the newspaper Moskovskie Vedomosti (from November 1890 to July 1896) Y. N. Govorukha-Otrok. The paper gives a brief description of the corpus of letters stored in the Russian State Library and in the Russian State Archive of Literature and Art; the transcribed fragments of some of them are given. An attempt is made to identify the common problem-thematic impulses of the epistolary dialogue between Strakhov and Govorukha-Otrok, as well as to consider it in the context of Strakhov's conversations with other interlocutors. It is concluded that the reconstruction of the epistolary images of critics will expand the horizons of understanding the hermeneutics-the dialogical unity of their thinking.
