N. N. Strakhov’s Episolaryi as autobiographical narrative
(based on correspondence with A. G. Dostoyevskaya)
The article clarifies the autobiographical evidence of Nikolai N. Strakhov, a Russian thinker of versatile scientific and philosophical bent, who did not leave behind extensive memoirs, but definitely identified himself in long-term correspondence with his contemporaries. The article is the first to introduce into scientific circulation the correspondence of N.N. Strakhov and Anna Grigorievna Dostoevskaya with some materials to a holistic understanding of the experience of intellectual and existential communication of Russian thinkers in the specific and general context of the "archive of the era".

No research is carried out in utter solitude. But there are special cases when gratitude is indispensable.

Shcherbakova, who generously provided transliterated and textually verified copies of manuscripts of N.N. Strakhov's letters, and Larisa E. Kuskova, who took an active part in finding, deciphering and transliterating manuscripts of A.G. Dostoevskaya’s letters.
The development of the concept of the “archive of the epoch” was undertaken in a significant way by Tatiana G. Shchedrina; the conceptualization of the autobiographical narrative in relation to historical and philosophical research is carried out by Irina O. Shchedrina. In conversations with them, the structure and semantic fields of the article were clarified.
