Cognitive Perspectives on Theological Poetry: Poetic Cognition and the "Living" Author

The article explores theological poetics in its cognitive significance and effectiveness. The key objective is to examine various aspects of the cognitive strategies of theological poetics, defining the characteristics of the cognitive process within religious poetics. The goal is to identify the structural components of theological poetics. The article's starting point is the definition of sincerity as a cognitive resource and the understanding of sincerity as a condition of cognition. Theological poetics represents a unique spiritual and artistic form for introducing profound foundations into cognition: awareness of the authenticity of being, openness to being, and acceptance of being as Divine presence. Through transforming the relationship between reason and faith, expanding cognitive subjectivity, and filtering cognitive strategies in the spirit of Christian values, theological poetics becomes a productive transfer beyond "all-too-human" cognition, opening up a unique opportunity to restore profound meanings to cognition. Theological poetics demonstrates the miraculous transformation of the author's cognitive position: the author's identity in theological poetics becomes alive and responsible for salvation through artistic expression. The living portraiture of authorship allows the poetic text to remain "alive," unlike the postmodernist interpretation of poetics. The result of this analysis is the assertion that theological poetics fulfills a unique mission – fidelity to the original Word, which determines the sincerity and truth of knowledge.
